Doctoral project - University of Sheffield

The role of acetyl-phosphate in the pathogenesis of Neisseria gonorrhoeae

The aim of this project is to understand the mechanism by which acetylation affects the pathogenesis and virulence of N. gonorrhoeae.

This is achieved by combining big data analysis of proteome and acetylome, performing in vitro  and in vivo models, protein crystallisation and modelling, and protein modelling interactions.
